nurse 2

DSC07460-500x500

Tara chose Buffalo Hummus Dip from 3 Little Greenwoods. “Love hummus and especially love Franks Buffalo Wing Sauce, so when I saw this recipe it caught my eye! Can’t wait to try it! Also with Football in full swing, I think this would be the perfect dip to make for a football or tailgate party!”

writing tips

Jessica chose 5 Simple Tips for Squeezing Writing Into Your Everyday Life from Georgia Lee – Writing to the Sound of Legos Clacking. “I truly needed Georgie’s post! I am suffering from writer’s block due to an upcoming dissertation I need to write. Quite frankly, I am brain-dead! Ick!!! I love her suggestion, especially #1 – write something everyday. Honestly, this is good practice tha I need to enforce on myself with the dissertation writing AND to keep up with blogging. Thanks, again! 15 minutes a day of writing, here I come!!”

Jillian chose this post. “I chose this post because I am looking for ways to get more writing into my day. I just never seem to have time – but this post reminds me it isn’t about finding extended time, but a few minutes here and there would be just fine.”

IMG_2457

Meghan chose Mommy Moments, I Must Confess from Winks and Eyerolls. “I really loved reading this post. Even though it was only 10 months ago that my little girl was the same age as the poster, it feels like so long ago. I was able to relive every moment with her…and it made me want another little one!”

DSC_0567

Cathy chose Saving Memories from Life with Peanut. “Megan shares an amazing idea to help you capture and remember all of the little things that your kids do that as time passes you forget about. My kids are in elementary school and Megan’s idea is the perfect way for me to someday reveal to them the moments of their childhood! I am starting tomorrow! 🙂 Check out Megan’s blog to see exactly how she is saving memories!”

Tenns also chose this post. “I love this idea! This is such a creative way to keep track of memories. I’m not great at documenting things, because it’s so hard to keep up with how fast littles grow. I’ll definitely keep this idea in mind as I document memories and keep track of things with my son.”

KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA

April chose Great Learning Games for Preschoolers from Life’s Little Projects. “My two year old, Bee, has already conquered letters, numbers, colors and shapes, yet then I got stuck on what to teach her next. As this school year starts, I wanted to give her a lesson plan too, but what to do next? Well, Amie Jo had several answers to my problem to keep her moving forward. I’m starting to get excited about this new year.”

img_9652

Mari chose Chewy White Chocolate Chip Cranberry Cookies from Born to Bake Forever. “I chose Megan’s cookies because it married al I love. Chewy, white chocolate chip and cranberries.
The moment I saw the picture I fell in love and went to the market this weekend to pickup the supplies to make it for my Birth Day so thanks Megan for my b’day treat :)”

DSC_0761

dsc_0391chocolatechipcookiedoughfilledchocolatesandwichcookie2

Stacey chose Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough filled Chocolate Sandwich Cookies from Bakewell Junction. “Oh these look wonderful! IMG_7660

Natasha chose How to get your 4 year old to take a nap from Just a Touch of Crazy. “I love this post! Although my son is 3, it takes a wish and a prayer to get him to take a nap. He sleeps so easily at school, but when’s he home – it’s a whole different story. Leilani’s list is a perfect depiction of what I have to do for naptime and for bedtime. It’s a wonder I’m still sane!”

Victoria chose How To Not Get Your Feelings Hurt When Blogging from 702 Park Project. “I chose [this post] because this article discusses a topic that I have not seen throughout the web before. City of Creative Dreams -6831396452713095161 “My name is Shanice. I’m a playwright/actress. I love just about everything creative. If I wasn’t organizing, I was writing a story or a play or acting or re-designing somewhere in my home. My room was a canvas for my creative ideas… Now that I am currently a stay at home mom. I needed a new activity to do on my spare time in between my son’s naps and taking care of my siblings. I love writing and creating new things! Which makes this the perfect place to share affordable creative ideas of mine that floats into my head. When you can’t find something that suits you perfectly then create it! I hope you find a some inspiration, some design and something you will love to create yourself. ”

Barbie Bieber and Beyond – Raising Girls About Me “Hi everyone!!!!! I am a Mum to 4 girls ranging in age from 6 to 16 years of age. I live in Sydney Australia with my husband and girls which provide me with many challenges in day to day life. We are a very close family who try to have some fun everyday while navigating the ins and outs of problems that many families in todays society face. Girls have their own unique set of challenges and having 4 scattered over a period of 10 years I am navigating all the different challenges from child, tween to teen all at the one time. That can be very daunting and scary at times but also I think it places me in an interesting position to be able to write from all aspects of girls through childhood and on to adolescents. I started blogging to give me another outlet during my day, with my youngest off to school next year I am faced with not having a child in the house during school hours, something I have not dealt with in over 15 years! So what better way than to share my insights into girls and maybe pass on some valuable tips and tricks to fellow Mums. I am open to all sorts of questions, but be aware that all opinions are just those, opinions!!! I don’t profess to know everything about girls, what person does??? especially the teenage girl! However if we can share our ideas together maybe things may not seem so hard sometimes.”

Life In The Wilde image7-675x1024 “Hi, I’m Lauren. Some people…well, most people call me Lew(Initials are LEW). Kids usually call me Lew Lew. I am a lover of Christ and seek his face, goodness and will every day. I believe the bible is TRUTH and stand firm in it. I am a baby lover. I’m especially head over heels for my 2 year old, Halston. As a single mom, I have a VERY special bond with him and I just love watching him learn and grow. I am a foodie, and nutrition fanatic which leads to some serious “should I or shouldn’t I” anxiety. I work full-time as a Managing Director for a boutique staffing company. I love to write, blog and vlog. I am passionate about sharing my heart and story with strangers. Sounds weird but, true. I started this blog because I believe sharing truth, struggle and triumph is what builds true relationships. I want to share from my heart in hopes of helping someone to step out of their solitude or feel a sense of belonging. I also have felt the Lord tugging at my heart to be bold in initiating more relationships and building a community. I pray that I will be transparent and create open communication with readers like you. In this blog there will be DIY posts, posts about party planning, love, parenting, faith, struggles, empowerment, fashion, beauty, food and anything else that I feel called to write about. I hope that I can help, teach, comfort, lend an idea or become a friend as I document this Wilde life!”

Brenda Blogs About… sherry_family_0032 “Welcome to my little corner of the blogoverse. I started my very first blog forever ago during my first year of law school – at the suggestion of my grandmother, of all people, so that she (and other family members) could keep up with my 180 in life (going from starving artist to starving law student). That was back when people would ask, “what’s a blog?” After 1L, I kind of let the blog dwindle. Then I started a new one where I mostly ended up sharing recipes. It wasn’t until I got pregnant and started this blog, that I started regularly posting again. This blog is about my adventures in working mommyhood. I tend to post about once a week, sometimes more – but I am a working mom and sometimes (ok, often) life gets in the way. I’d love to write even more, and have made several resolutions in the past to write more often, which I’ll do for about a week or two – and then I’ll go a week and a half without posting anything . . . such is the life of a busy working mom.”
