Sunday Meal Plan – Week 20

Happy Sunday!!

This has been an awesome, albeit busy weekend. I can’t believe we’re at Sunday afternoon already, I don’t wanna go back to work!

Okay enough pouting! What did we do this weekend?

We went to the Farmer’s Market and bought all the strawberries. Not really, but I really do love this time of year and the NY fresh strawberries are amazeballs! I bought 2 full pints and a 1/2 pint, but with the way Emmett and I are eating them, I should have got 3 full pints. 🙂

We played in the backyard, got dirty in the sandbox and then dumped our new play grill over, just because. haha I had a hard time not laughing when he did this, because it was so random and out of the blue. He just yelled, “AAAAHHHH” and tipped it over. Thankfully, it’s just plastic and most everything comes apart, so there was no damage but Emmett is a wild animal!

We spent a good deal of time walking and playing at the playground, too! Emmett is so brave now. He loves to climb up the more difficult ladders, and while I worry he’s going to fall, I let him go for it and he’s actually quite good.

We meal prepped and grocery shopped at Trader Joe’s and Wegmans, and stocked our freezer with local beef from the Farmer’s Market. I don’t really know what a “good” steak tastes like, but I know Seamus does and he’s stoked to try it out.

And that brings me to…

This Week’s Menu

Sunday: Steak & some sort of veggie

Monday: Trader Joe’s Orange Chicken & Rice

Tuesday: Pasta & Garlic Bread

Wednesday: Tilapia & Cauliflower

Thursday: Chicken, Feta Sausage & Zucchini

Friday: Baby back ribs & Corn on the Cobb

Saturday: Hot Dogs & Fries

I’m REALLY excited about the ribs this week. I’m not typically a huge fan of ribs when we go out to eat because I hate getting messy and sticky, but at home it’s easy to wash up. I can’t wait!

I’m linking up with Laura from Mommy, Run Fast! and Jill from jillconyers.com. Be sure to stop on over and visit them and join the Sunday meal planning link-up!

Your turn!

Anything new and exciting on your menu for the week?

What did you do this weekend? I’d love to hear about it in the comments below.
