Sharing My Meal Plan for the Week
Happy Sunday, everyone! I can’t say I’m excited that it is Sunday already, I really could use another weekend day, but I’m happy that it is a gorgeous day and that I food prepped my dupa off. And as soon as my little cutie pie wakes up, we’re going to either take a bike ride or car ride (it’ll depend on if Seamus comes or not), and venture to a new playground. It’s definitely still chilly out, but I want to soak up the sun as much as possible, it has been pretty cloudy here over the past few days.
Alright, onto that meal plan
Breakfast: I’ll be having my usual eggs and cheese, but adding in bacon and eating it in a lettuce wrap. A good friend recommended this and I’m really psyched to give it a try.
Lunch: I found this yummy tuna salad recipe, but switched out the tuna for imitation crab meat. It has capers and green onion in it, two of my absolutely favorite things to add to salads, I am SO looking forward to lunch. I also made these yummy little PB cookie dough protein balls, they’re yummy in my tummy. Oh and watermelon, so much watermelon. If wanting to eat a quarter of a watermelon is wrong, I don’t want to be right. 🙂
and… Dinners
Sunday: Leftover Pulled pork & GF mac & cheese
Monday: Carne Asada sliced and placed in tortillas with fresh veggies (one of my favs)
Tuesday: Korean Beef & Trader Joe’s Chicken Fried Rice
Wednesday: Hamburgers & Oven Fries
Thursday: Marinated Chicken & zucchini
Friday: Homemade Pizza (carry-over from last week)
Saturday: Teriyaki Salmon & asparagus (carry-over from last week)
I had a couple meals that carried-over. One of the days was because my parents came to visit and we ended up ordering pizza out, and the second day, Seamus felt like going out for chicken wings/fingers at Duff’s, and who am I to say no!? Which is why I am likely suffering with Binge Eating Disorder. Ugh.
Alrighty folks, as usual, I’m linking up with Laura from Mommy, Run Fast! and Jill from jillconyers.com. Check them out, and share the love.
Your turn!
What fun new things are you adding to your menu this week?
Do you ever feel like an entire watermelon isn’t going to be enough, simply because you love it too much? 😉
I will be riding 62.5 miles at the end of June, for cancer research. I would truly love if you would sponsor me – I have a goal of $1000, and every penny, nickle or dime, that you’re willing to give will help me meet that goal. You can find the fundraising site by clicking here.
New playgrounds are always fun! Looks like another delicious week- have a great one!
Thanks, Laura!! We have a couple fun new options on this week’s menu, and I am excited about it.
