Sunday Meal Plan – A Day Late
Whoops! I’m a day late getting my weekly meal plan posted, sorry about that. Before I get into our food for the week, I thought I’d tell you about our weekend. Both days sped by in a blur, but it works out because I am on vacation this week. 🙂
Saturday we got up and out the door early and headed out to do some shopping. I wanted Seamus to take a look at a laptop that BJs was selling, and then we wanted to make a quick stop at Toys R Us for a cute little boy we know. The Toys R Us trip was a bust because they didn’t have what we were looking for.
We wanted to get Emmett a stuffed Elmo, but not one that said anything. TRU only had talking versions, so we ended up just ordering one from Amazon. Online shopping wins again! We also made a quick stop at Trader Joe’s for some coffee and other odds and ends. We were thinking of going out for dinner but Emmett had other plans. He refused his nap until 5, and by the time he woke up it was too late to go out. We ended up just scrounging up some stuff around the house.
Sunday we headed down to visit my family. It was a blast! Emmett kept us all on our toes, running everywhere and getting into everything, and my parents had a wonderful time visiting with him. We had a yummy lunch too; my mom made chili that was out of this world!
Alright onto…
My Sunday Meal Plan
Monday: Chicken Florentine Casserole (this is a carry over from last week, that we never made)
Tuesday: Leftover Pulled Pork
Wednesday: Baked Chicken and Cauliflower
Thursday: Pollo Asada Fajitas (we just take Trader Joe’s Pollo Asada chicken, and put it in fajitas with fresh veggies)
Friday: Lunch Out (which will be large, so we’ll likely just have something light for dinner)
Saturday: Soup and Sandwiches
Since we’re off, our meals may flip or switch as the week goes on, but at least we have stuff in the house so that we don’t go completely buck wild with our food choices.
Workout Recap
Ugh! I seriously suck at sticking to anything. This is a whole blog post on it’s own, but I really am awful at sticking to my workout goals. I went once, on Monday, and didn’t go to the gym again. 🙁 More to come on this in future posts.
Alright folks, that about does it. Be sure to stop on over to Mommy Run Fast, and link-up.
How fun that you had time with grandparents! Do you have any at home dvds or simple workouts you can do? I find some days that is easier for me mentally than packing up and trekking to the gym!
Hi Laura! I do, I have several DVDs, from cardio, to strength and even some great yoga. I truly have no excuse when it comes to working out, I am my own worst enemy.
Breakfast for dinner is a weekly occurrence in our house – so yummy!
Hey Katie! Breakfast for dinner is THE best. Plus, it saves some money in the grocery budget. Thanks so much for visiting!
