Sunday Food Prep
It’s Sunday, and for me that means it’s the start of my week. Technically, it is still the weekend and I’m fully enjoying myself doing nothing but relaxing, but in order to be successful with weight loss, I need to come up with a plan. I was reading one of my favorite mommy blogs, Mommy Run Fast, and realized that she does a weekly meal link-up on Sundays. What better way to keep on a healthy food path, than to share our meal plan for the week so that is exactly what I’m doing!
This Week’s Meals
Sunday (today): Seamus’ Meatloaf and baked potatoes
Monday: Mexican Naan Pizza (A delicious Wegmans recipe)Tuesday: Seamus and Emmett will have spaghetti, I’ll have tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich (I’m not a big fan of pasta right now).
Wednesday: Balsamic Glazed Steak Rolls (This is a new recipe for us, and I am so so so excited to try it!)Thursday: Skinny Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken Tacos
Friday: Pecan Crusted Tilapia (This is an eMeals recipe, and is also Paleo – super yummy!)
Saturday: Out or order in
There are some weeks where I am just not excited for what we put on our menu, but this week I am really really excited for everything!
Typically I will use this section to share out the workouts that I’ve done over the past week. Sadly, the only day I did anything of a physical nature was Sunday, but I plan to change that in the coming week.
